The product is smaller than expected but I only use the light for the 11x14 picture frame. The flashlight itself goes through many batteries. But now I've bought rechargeable batteries, so it's an easy fix. The remote control stopped working after about 2 months. At that time I switched from conventional batteries to rechargeable ones. I thought the remote control was broken. It turns out you just have to make sure when you put in your rechargeable batteries that you don't accidentally press the button to turn on the light because the remote control doesn't work for some reason. If you accidentally press the button, you'll need to remove the batteries, reinsert the batteries, and then point the remote at it to turn it on. I found out by accident. This is a great little product and I would definitely recommend and buy again.
