Review on BenBoy Men's Waterproof Rain Pants: Lightweight & Breathable Outdoor Over Pants for Hiking & Fishing by Jason Sullivan

Versatile price point, the Great Outdoors pants appear to be durable

These pants are excellent at this price point. They kept me dry and warm when I was sledding with the kids and they were great for hiking. I've worn them in temperatures between 30's and 70's and have never felt too hot or too cold. I don't think I would have worn them for serious play in the snow or skiing unless the temp was above freezing or I was wearing a base layer. They are not wide enough at the bottom to cover the boots (don't zip up the bottom). The above is not intended to be critical or negative - just a statement of what if someone viewed it for such a purpose. I did notice that I was a little uncomfortable with the zipper on one bag at first, but it seems to have gone away on its own. I usually wear 32" x 30" and the medium fits me perfectly (might be a bit long but they taper at the bottom so I didn't notice; they probably easily fit those who are 32" x 32 " wear). Pretty versatile and apparently durable, and at a price I'm not worried about ruining. Very happy with them after wearing them for a few days and am about to order two more pairs.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are some nuances
