I bought this switch after the seller answered a question about the display not falling off when switching between two PCs like DisplayPort switches often do. For those unfamiliar, when using a switch for display ports, the display often disconnects from the PC when you switch from that PC. This causes the display to flicker while the operating system reorganizes elements on other displays. Sometimes it even resets your "primary" display. I'm currently using the monitor's internal menu to toggle between HDMI and Displayport, with my work laptop connected via DP and my gaming desktop connected via HDMI. This does NOT cause the problem. The whole reason for buying it was that I could connect both via DP and switch between them more easily. Since the product fails here, I am sending it back. All in all I can confirm that it works with at least 2k@144hz. The switch feels solid and switches quickly. The included micro USB cable was long enough to reach the USB charging hub I keep on my desk to provide 5V power. Off, this might work for you.
