Pin Fastener. Using either an impact wrench or a 1/4 ratchet there was a "sticky" spot where some worked fine but 5 came off. I now have either these bolts that don't match the factory bolts or another set that was very expensive for what it is. I liked how they lined up the seal and sump, but with a failure rate of about 30% I can't recommend them. because of the price and the time required. I do my installation while the engine is still in the car.
