Two hands are required for large plugs.
Product does the job well for a 2" plug. The 2-1/2 stopper cap is a bit small. I was able to remove the caps. You just had to be careful holding it and turning it. It became a two-hand operation. With both hands it did. I am very glad that I had this tool. It's easier with two hands.
