Suitable for duck feet in shoes

I made the mistake of waiting to look for new climbing shoes until my old shoes were almost useless and it finally took four tries Find these reflex Shoes. If you have tried many climbing shoes, you have probably noticed that they are not particularly suitable for wide feet. La Sportiva specifically - I tried the Miura VS and felt pain after 10 minutes on the wall, despite not even pressing my toes against the ends. Now, when I say "wide foot," I don't mean any fancy EEE foot: I wear D-width outdoor shoes with no problem, but outdoor shoes are much more forgiving than mountaineering shoes. These shoes were meant to replace my Scarpa Helix. , also a good shoe but I got tired of the lacing and all the corners of the sole were rounded making it difficult to use small kicks. Well, this shoe is pretty much the strap version of the Helix: same colors, same foot profile, only the closure is different. The sizing in these shoes is pretty accurate - I wear the 11.5 in street shoes, and the 45.5 (11 2/3) in this shoe fits me well, maybe with a little extra on the top of the foot where the tongue fits. among the porters. The only oddity I would like to point out is that the strap closest to the ankle is very long. The shoes fit well but when I fasten the straps they go down maybe 2 inches more than the picture, almost to the sole of the shoe. I don't notice this when I'm in the wall and I can't think of too many climbing maneuvers that use that part of the outer heel, but I just thought it was an odd design feature of the shoe. All in all it's great.
