You get what you pay for although the price is good

The adapter is almost the same as the picture. The structure is made of machined and polished aluminum alloy. While it's not flimsy, it's not as durable as more expensive plated stainless steel or brass blocks. Right out of the box, most of the machined edges were sharp. The first thing I did was sand the edges to avoid cutting. The fit seems accurate for the M mount, although the first few times it was mounted on the camera (Voigtlander Bessa R3M) the adapter did not fully engage with the locking latch, allowing the lens to rotate freely. It repaired itself (usually not a good thing), and since I found no sign of shrapnel or obvious damage to the adapter or camera, I figured ignorance was bliss. I contacted the other owner and confirmed they had the same experience. Aside from the lightweight construction and sharp edges, my only real complaint is that the threads are cut so that the focus index on the lens is 30+ degrees off top center, depending on the lens. Were it not for the low price I wouldn't rate it higher than a two but at this price ($12.98) there is value.
