I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.
I used it mostly for athletic purposes, like running and my five-day-a-week gym routine. The low cost is a major benefit. Even if you settle with a cheap sports watch like a Polar, you won't be able to find anything comparable for that amount. Superb GPS acquisition; the path follows a straight line with no hiccups. For an optical device that measures heart rate, the pulse is also quite reliable. Those who are interested can fill them up with tunes and listen via the included headphones.
