Maestro Dashkit FTR1 Installation 2016 Ford F150xl

Take 2 full days to install if you do it yourself. Just watch the idatalink Maestro online installation video for your kit. I had FTR1. It shows you everything you need to know. The instructions in the Maestro box suck, and the instructions for my Kenwood media receiver suck. Make sure you buy the Maestro rr module and run it on your computer from your car and stereo website so all your steering wheel and gauges can show up and work on the receiver. There was a wire on the back of the Kenwood that I missed but didn't mention that tells the backup camera to turn on when you put it in reverse. I had to uninstall and reinstall. *Important that the FTR1 had YouTube video of migrating the circuit boards from the old dash kit to the new ribbon cable. None of the temperature/AC controls worked. Had to uninstall, swap ribbon cables and reinstall. The video was confusing. In the end I installed everything, everything works and looks very nice. THE END
