I ordered this stand for use with my (3) Acer Acer G246HL 24 inch LED backlit monitors for use in my home office. I did this because I wanted to take the monitors off my desk and move them around as needed. I've used several monitor stands as work in the past, both clip-on and freestanding types, and the key feature of this stand that really sets it apart from the rest is that this stand allows you to detach your monitors individually. like taking the TV off the wall mount. Secure the multi-monitor mount. Once this is complete you will need to reattach all the monitors to the stem (or have someone help) while tightening the clamp around the stem. With that, you mount the brackets to the pole and then attach some back plates to the monitor and slide them over the brackets and you're done. Another great feature is the ability to adjust the height of the center monitor, so all of your monitors line up exactly how they should. This works especially well when playing or using the same window on multiple screens, especially in Excel where you need to align the cells properly. Why didn't anyone come up with this idea before? All in all a great product, very easy to set up. and it looks great on my desk. I will update this review if anything changes.
