These are exactly what I was looking for! My issue was that the bottoms of my shoes get gross because I don't wear socks. This provides a washable layer. I couldn't feel it once inside my shoe. I arranged it in the bottom, slipped my foot inside, and made sure that my toes were inside the end (instead of on top of) and this was comfortable all day. I wear an 8.5 and had no issues with length. I would say that it would be too small for feet size 9.5 or larger.
