Suitable for this second generation. At least 4.0 models. The stock exhaust pipe seems to have been the same diameter for many years. My mother-in-law has a Prerunner 08, the same exhaust as my 2013 Sport 4x4. So buy it if you want a better looking exhaust tip. It doesn't do anything for tone or performance, but it looks way better than a regular trumpet. I basically flush mounted mine and it looks great without much sticking out. I've been wearing it for almost a month with no chips or other issues. I have stock fenders so they can help it not get hit by the rocks my Wildpeak AT3 throws like they do. I hope this helps 2nd generation taco owners looking to brush up on their ride.
