Given the recent popularity of air purifiers and their good reputation for air filters, it makes sense for them to enter the air purifier market. In my experience there is not much difference in features and performance between different brands in a similar price range. The most important thing that differentiates them is the design and the "total cost of ownership", i.e. the cost of replacing the filter. It has all the features you'd expect for the price (touch controls, air quality sensor, auto mode, timer, extras) and it's a WiFi-enabled smart device. It looks beautiful regardless of tech and has a powerful fan that circulates quite a bit of air. It's not the quietest air purifier I own, but it's quiet enough on the lowest settings. Personally, I have mixed feelings about owning a "smart" air purifier. On the one hand, I love all things smart home and have dozens of smart home devices (lights, cameras, home security, speakers, etc.). Personally, however, I don't want to think about my air purifier other than changing the filter. In my opinion, the best home air purifiers require nothing more than simply turning them on and letting them run quietly in the background.
