I was a bit skeptical about this light at first, but once it was installed I knew I made a great investment!* Light quality: 10/10 - Easy to turn on and off - Easy brightness adjustment - Beautiful colours to improve the appearance of your aquarium. I was surprised how many colors it has. * Waterproof: 10/10 (so far!) - I've thrown it in the aquarium a few times now and no problems. The light continues to work and no problems in the tank itself (other than some really confused fish!). There are so many other more expensive aquarium lights that will tell you up front that their light is NOT waterproof. Well, if he sits over the aquarium. Splashes happen, accidents happen. So who needs a tank light without waterproof protection? This flashlight really works when it comes to what it does! * Using the Adjust Controller: 8/10 - It's a bit confusing at first to understand how the controller works. Once you get the hang of it, it will be pretty easy. Sometimes I accidentally change the color when I'm about to turn off the light, which means you have to cycle through all the colors to get back to the settings you prefer. It doesn't matter to me, especially considering the other benefits this light has to offer.* Timer: 6/10 - I've struggled to figure out how the timer actually works. I don't think you can set it to turn on and off automatically at a certain time every day. Again, I still don't quite get it. If you want the light to stay on for X hours this seems to work fine. You have the choice between 6, 8 or 12 hours. However, this means you have to do it every day. This might irk some people, but hey, for a $20 light that's amazing in so many other ways, it doesn't really matter. * Stand Adjustability: 10/10 - To increase or decrease the length of the stand, simply gently tug on the sides and it adjusts to the exact dimensions you need. This is a really neat feature. Just don't pull too hard as the stand may come out of the sides of the light itself. Overall I am very impressed with this flashlight. This is excellent value for money. In the future I plan to buy more of these lights for my aquariums and watch my fish enjoy them for many years to come.
