Not for thick materials
They are suitable for mounting in sheet metal about 1/8 inch thick. When mounting in thicker material, you need longer screw connections. They are suitable for conventional electrical junction boxes. I used one on the fuel pump. and wish the threaded part was 1/4 inch longer.
