I've been using leather since I got my first Elite controller, this was necessary as the rubber grips would separate from the controller case (known issue). Once I bought the Elite 2 controller I got used to the feel of the lid and continue to use the same one. But it was made for the first Elite controller, so it dangled a bit. I saw one and it was designed specifically for the Elite 2. At this price it can't hurt. Thing fits like a glove, I have much better control of the controller now. The texture is like a soft satin texture instead of the previous silicone or rubber texture. Feels much better, worth the money.
