Review on XPAND Round Lacing Elastic No Tie Shoelaces: Quick Release Tension Control - One Size Fits All Shoes! by Larry Breeze

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of these type of stretch laces around, but this one is a little better

I’ve bought dozens of various stretch laces since I started in triathlon in the late 90s. These have several advantages: 1. Easy to install; 2. Generous lace length for the occasional shoe that needs it; 3. Lace holder lies flat on the shoe; 4. Big lace end that stays put when you tuck it under the laces; 5. Lots and lots of colors; and 6. Price in the same ranges as everyone else’s. I think I’ll get there from now on as long as the price stays relatively reasonable.

Pros
  • Great for children who struggle with fine motor skills
Cons
  • Could cause the shoe to feel loose or unstable during activity
