If you need brake control, you need it NOW. Don't risk needing a brake controller and not being able to pull it because you don't have one. It's so easy to install and so unobtrusive that if you ever intend to use your vehicle for towing, it's a good idea to get it installed as soon as possible. If CURT has a wiring harness for your vehicle, it is important to order one to ensure a quick plug and play setup with no wires to connect. I installed it on a 2017 Honda Ridgeline and the CURT 51392 Quick Plug Trailer Brake Controller Wiring Harness plugged directly into the under dash connector. The entire installation from start to finish only took about 5 minutes. While I can't rate the controller's performance at the moment, I'm sure it will work flawlessly.
