Perfect for trailer accessories

Perfect for wiring my Nissan Frontier; already installed under the dashboard of the truck; and brake controller. As long as you have pre-wiring in the truck, installation is easy. only minutes. My truck came with a towing package. I don't know that all Frontiers have wires under the dash.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Crumpled

Made for easy installation

I ordered a 3050 P for my 2019 Armada. It fit perfectly in the brake well under the dashboard. The socket is to the right of the steering column and was glued to a different cable. Once this was discovered I hardwired my Reese brake controller to the other end of the 3050P and I had power. By the way, YouTube helped me.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Perfect fit for 2010 Nissan Armada with Towing Kit

With this brake controller adapter it took 10 minutes to connect the Tekonsha brake controller to a 2010 Nissan Armada (with towing kit). In the box was a nice diagram showing where the connector is, just above the parking brake frame. If your armada doesn't have a tow pack, I don't think this adapter will work. I think the pre-wired tow plug is only included in the tow kit.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Ported from Pathfinder 2012 to Titan 2017

This is a well made adapter harness. I had it on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder for a little over 2 years. We decided to get a bigger tractor and sold the Pathfinder. We looked at several brands of full size pickups including the Nissan Titan so I decided to remove the wiring harness when I removed the brake controls. We ended up buying a 2017 Titan and the seat belt made my brake controller plug in and work a second time.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Cable splice on Nissan Titan 04 and some 05

If you have a Nissan Titan 04 you will need to splice the cables as the clamp is no longer on your truck. Because the Techonsha used this particular version of the clip and then discontinued it after Nissan put it on their first Titans. If you have a Titan from the same year as mine the trailer connector is behind a plastic panel to the left of the emergency brake and this is the top connector which you cut off and connect to the adapter wires.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Blank

Great, simple and detailed instructions!

This cable was great. I bought a brake controller and this cable. This cable connected directly to my brake control unit and connected directly to a used connector in the truck. The brake control worked great. This cable simplifies installation. Including mounting the brake controller, this cable made it so easy that the whole project took about 15 minutes from start to finish. The instructions for my car were very detailed and to the point. Get me one and. Take control of your trailer brakes.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Expandable

FIT FOR 2018 Nissan Pathfinder

Although Tekonsha posted this note on their website when they were looking for parts for 2018 Pathfinder (as of 07/2019): for this vehicle. Must be hardwired." turns out to be appropriate. At first I thought that wasn't the case, so I checked the Tekonsha website. But then, almost by accident (referring to a post in the Pathfinder forums) that the factory installed connector (which is fairly well hidden, wrapped in black fabric tape on the wiring harness in the dash, just above the emergency…

Easy to Install: Trailer Accessory

Highly recommend this product if you are adding a trailer brake control to the Nissan for which it was designed. Once the correct connection was found it was found on our car under the dash between the steering column and center console (see image), installation was a breeze (no pun intended). This adapter is used with the Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ Electronic Brake Controller (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001P11SCM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) also purchased through Revain. The two work

Works with 2022 Nissan Pathfinder

3050-P Wire Adapter worked fine although Tekonsha has not yet listed a 2022 Pathfinder (as of 9/1/2021). However, finding the connector on the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was difficult. You can't see the connector when you look under the dashboard. You need to remove the fairing shown in the pictures. The plate is attached with clips, so you don't need a screwdriver. Just be careful and take your time. You may need to remove the left side panel first. The plug is wrapped in black fabric/rubber tape.

Pros
  • Vehicle Specific Brake Control Wiring Harness
Cons
  • Secret

Fits perfectly for my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and the Tekonsha brake

I bought this for a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and it works GREAT! No splicing, soldering or tape. Just stick a (INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO FIND) wire harness (but that's Nissan's fault, not Tekonsha's) under my dash, plug the other end into my electric brake and the job is done! 5 minutes saved me hundreds of dollars. This harness has been paired with a Tekonsha P3 electric brake. So if you use another manufacturer I would see what they recommend. I will also say that the wiring was a good length so…

Pros
  • Brake controller with 2 pin harness that says Plug and Play
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
