I tow a truck behind my motorhome.This connection kit seems a perfect replacement for my existing wire but is in addition a pre-coiled wire which will prevent the dragging problem that has occurred with the existing wire when my latches come lose. The problem with all my trailers is that I don't use them all the time - some maybe not for an entire year.The great thing about this kit is that you can remove the cable and store it away when you don't use it so the ends don't corrode sitting outside in the elements. When you have this coiled up during use, it stretches out only when needed and not dragging on the ground at times. The connectors are heavy duty - either very sturdy thick plastic or the other end in non rusting stainless steel.

Usually I try out any product before I review it. I got this for a trailer I'm working on, andto use with a camper that's not on my truck right now. I've been looking at RV stores andthe usual auto parts stores for the same thing and while RV stores carry similar products,they don't look nearly as hefty as this does and they're usually $20 more expensive. I bought this for our bumper pull trailer because I was tired of the long cord dragging or getting caught up etc. This cord is perfect! I haven't taken it out in the frigid cold, so I don't know how much cold weather will affect the cord from expanding.

Nice kit to connect the built-in 7-pin on a driven vehicle to a 6-pin on a towed vehicle. The coiled wire is a solid gauge. Connectors look robust and well assembled. The socket and mounting bracket are handy for trailers that don't currently have that connection.

I guess you get what you pay for. Was not wired right. Every wire on car end was grounded out to metal case. Blew 3 fuses on motorhome. Had to rewire using my old cable ends.Was fast with shipping but it wasn't worth the headache.Guess next time I will go back with Blue Ox brand, it might even be sooner than I think.

I had to replace the 6-pin connector and 6-7 pin coiled cable for flat-towing our Jeep behind our motorhome. I'm replacing a Blue Ox cable and connector and this set is as good a quality as the Blue Ox at a much more wallet friendly price!

Hooked up the cable between RV and towed vehicle in the driveway it worked just fine. Took the RV for a ride with the towed CRV, when I got back from my trip around the block I had no right turn signal of right brake light on CRV, the 20A fuse had blown. Found that the screw for the green right turn signal protruding just enough to ground out to the metal case. If it hadn't done that it would have been 5 stars.

I use this on our RV to attach to our towed vehicle. It fits the sockets snuggly and clicks in soundly! All lights on the vehicle operate properly.

The cable is a good length, wound well extends easy and pulls back well when not in use. I can't say how long it will last but seems well built with decent materials.

It's super functional. I have no issues using it with my RV. It works just as well as the name brand. I've had it for a few weeks with no problems.

I received this product free through the vine voice program.Comes with everything you need to hook up your tow vehicle. And live the cord. On inspection looks durable.

I haven't figured out what it is yet, but something in this wire is grounding out and popping fuses. I gave it 2 stars instead of one because the materials seem to be good quality, and hopefully I'll be able to find and fix the short.

Exceptionally well made with quality materials. Stretches to 8 feet and has the coil tension not to sag or drag. Comes with storage box and complete instructions including the best wiring diagram I've ever seen. Quick, convenient, trouble free, long lasting. What more could you want?

Nice quality replacement for the umbilical cord between your coach and toad. What I like about this on is that the connectors on both ends can be replaced if necessary. Some replacements are fused together and not serviceable by the owner or a professional. If your coach end cracks, as they can do, replacement is doable by the average DYI'er. Or you can take it to your mechanic, but you will not need to replace the entire cord and connectors.
