I have been using Mirka abrasives for decades. You can't find them in big stores and all the abrasives I've used other than non-Mirka ones haven't had the same results. There is nothing else in my workshop. It lasts longer than other brands, doesn't smudge, doesn't lose the abrasive coating on the edges as quickly (some lose it on the first smack with the edge of sandpaper on any surface). I've had Mirka's box on sandpaper for probably 20 years. It still holds up and still works like a charm (I use it on homemade sanding blocks. Some of the paper on these blocks is original. That should tell you how good this material is). There are cheaper sandpapers. but they are not that good. I even use Mirka on my Festool grinders as I find it holds up better than their brand. and who knows how much Festool costs should appreciate this comment.
