Haven't used beard oil before but had trouble with the balm. It is so hard that it is difficult to get it out of the container and it does not soften easily when rubbed in the hands. I've tried softening it by placing the container in hot water as suggested by the company on their website, but that didn't work either. I am not sure if I would buy it again.
