I used to order this pillowcase as a present for my mum. I was struck by the higher mom number, 25, as the usual number is only 19. In fact, I had to look up the definition of the word "mom". With silk, the higher the mami, the higher the quality/softness. I have a feeling it's similar to how much better the higher thread count sheets are. In any case, my mother was happy about it. However, I didn't see it myself until I ordered it for my teenage daughter. It was beautiful fabric wrapped in a very strong dark blue gift box (6-8 inches square?) with her name embossed on the lid. The gold fabric seal featured tasteful cards detailing the company's quality standards and care instructions. The pillowcase is very soft and the color it received was quite light blue. I also liked the mostly concealed side zipper (pleat on the opposite side and topstitching on the long sides). I believe the pillow would have slipped out otherwise as both sides are silk. My daughter loved it from the moment she felt it. I want one now as I've heard it helps with wrinkles and prevents frizzy hair.
