This is a great little vest with an optional inflatable liner and wide velcro straps that fit snugly and are reinforced with snaps to ensure the vest doesn't float or slide off your dog's body. And the handle on the back is attached well, and that made it very secure, it was like a little dog suitcase. small head up and above the surface when in deeper water. A chin rest of sorts that allows him to use his energy to just focus on the row instead. Our 20lb Cavichon is perfect for the medium. He loves the IDEA of swimming and thinks he has to save every swimmer in the pool, but he's not a strong swimmer at all. This gave him the comfort of a Thundershirt and the perfect buoyancy (with the liner inflated) he needed to be much more comfortable, so he actually went into the water alone. Definitely another purchase recommendation.
