Traditional cleaners practically send me (and my mom and my aunt and many other people I love) to the emergency room. This is an amazing alternative! Works very well. Even in big riots. Just a little water and a little brushing and it works wonders. The price seems to fluctuate a bit. So if you can snag one at a good price I recommend buying two. They wear out fairly quickly with use. For my "terrible" mess, I went through one stone and part through another (there are two in a pack). However, in normal oven cleaning, and if I'm guessing, I'm guessing about 3 uses per stone. I bought it on the recommendation of my aunts. This she used on commercial kilns she worked on. She said I could find them at my local grocery or hardware store for less than $5. But nobody in my area seems to be wearing them. So I order here. I paid over $12 and while I know it's expensive for this product my lungs are worth it. Highly recommended. Oh! A tangible warning. I was expecting a heavier item with a rockier feel. It's simple and kind of reminds me of touching chalk if chalk were rough (a vague comparison, for which I apologize). I still wear gloves for cleaning, but if you have tactile issues you might not like it as much as I do. .
