I'm not an IT professional and I don't work in IT. I have been using PepLink and WAP routers for over five years and they are very well made and well maintained. Flexible in configuration but simpler than Cisco's products, the company offers a web-based management tool that is also very powerful but accessible to non-IT users as well. Well, to be sure, you need to apply yourself and learn some concepts, but any gadget lover does it anyway. I use three of these to cover myself in a large house. One SSID is configured for all three, but I've also assigned SSIDs to each of them and each band to accommodate devices that move too easily. Again, the InControl web management system facilitates SSID and radio management. Firmware management and performance logs are also available. Highly recommended!
