The right product for me, there were no problems.

Ideal if it works as part of a Wi-Fi network under the control of the OS200 controller and the TL-R605 router. If there is an OS200 in the network, then all settings, ates, etc. occur in the controller interface. As part of Omada, a very good access point.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

This access point works in the country, closes the second floor and summer cottage with a wireless network. Before that, there was an Asus router. TP-Link's coverage is much better. Has some pros: Tp-Link Omada SDN is just a super system. Implemented in the office and in the country - everything suits, works, is controlled easily and reliably. Has some cons: Sometimes there are shortcomings, technical support promptly eliminates. Even wishes in expanding the functionality are implemented.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

a great option for accessing the network in a suburban area - with the help of two such points, it was possible to cover a plot of 15 acres. One point with a wired connection, the other in wireless mesh mode connects to the first. there is a nuance with setting up in Omada Mesh mode - this requires a controller on the network, a hardware controller is more expensive than the point itself, but, fortunately, the manufacturer has a software controller, so you can solve the problem with setting up

Works perfectly! Best in Wireless Access Points

Used for 3 months. I ran a 300ft line from home to a shop using Cat6a ethernet cable (shielded and buried) for internet access but after having to replace it 3 times in a couple of years because I imagine lightning put the line out of service. finally broke and looked at the wireless bridge. I wish I had learned this from the start! I set this up in the back of my house with an additional hotspot installed at the store to pick up the signal and act as the store's spatial Wi-Fi system. The shop…

Very easy installation - just use the app

I have an EAP245 (AC1750) and I have just installed an EAP225 (AC1300) which is being used in my house. These are amazing products if you use the Omada app (Android). If you use this application you will lose some enterprise/industrial configuration settings but it makes the setup too easy compared to downloading the TP-Link EAP Controller software and running the configuration via Windows. I set up the EAP245 for the first time using the Windows software. Intuitively difficult and sometimes…

Easy to install and set up, works great!

I'm definitely not a network expert, but I was able to set up and configure the access point very easily. My main reason for the hotspot was to send a strong Wi-Fi signal to a nested camera above the driveway. I ran a 100 foot Category 6 cable from my main router to my garage attic prior to purchase so it wouldn't be too much at once once I have the access point. I didn't even know what POE was until I opened the box, but I read the instructions and hooked it up with no problems. Setting up the

Outdoor access point only for indoor use?

First of all it is for indoor use only as stated on the device itself. I have no idea why people decided to expose him to the elements. It's also made out of cheap plastic, so not suitable for attic installations. Let's evaluate the possibilities. Setup is easy, I did it in less than 20 seconds - map the MAC to a static IP address on the router, plug in the device, navigate to the predefined IP address, change the admin password for the hotspot , enter the SSID and password , and you're done…

    Throw away directions!

I need reliable WiFi in my garden. I looked at all types of extenders and did a lot of research. I chose this because, unlike plug-in extenders, there is no universal protocol that will cut your WiFi speed in half (search). I give 5 stars because it works very well if you ignore the instructions. The instructions require you to download some software in order for it to work. The software needs holes all over your router. The software will not "talk to the DB server" even if the holes are open…

Extended wireless network around the farm

I bought this to extend my wireless network to my shed where I have wireless cameras. It's been up for almost a year now and still works fine. I have several WIFI dome cameras with 20x zoom in different places on the farm. They all work quite well with this access point. The longest distance is probably 200 feet from the access point to the camera and they work quite well at that distance. I tested the distance to around 400 feet when my phone was controlling the cameras (phone was connected to

Works great and is good value for money.

I have purchased two of these devices and will not be compensated or paid for this review. I already have a pretty strong WiFi mesh network for our phones and mobile devices in our (big) house. Grid means they all have the same SSID and password, so when you get within range, the device will connect to the strongest. But I recently installed several security IP cameras and about 2/3 of them are connected to my network wirelessly. I don't need this traffic on my existing Wi-Fi network for…

Update 08/19/2019: Still working and no complaints! I only have one of these and use it at home. I really should have just signed up and setup via IP, but I'm a bit of a nerd so I'm running the free Ormada controller software in a virtual machine. I've seen a few reviews that were bad about the controller software, but I haven't seen any stability issues with version 2.6.0 yet, but again, I'm just running an EAP at home for now. I was previously running TP-Link. TL-WA901ND is a 3x3 MIMO 802.11n

    A Bit of Technology Takes

Update: 12/19/19 The EAP225 V3 is still going strong. But I added another Access Point (AP) to extend the range of my separate "Smart Things" network. This time I bought N300, so EAP115. There are some significant differences between the two and I've listed them below. EAP115 (N300) - This access point is only for Wireless N (n, b, g), so there is no 5 GHz, it only has a 2.4 GHz channel. This is ideal for smart devices (IOT). - The incoming LAN port is 100Mbps instead of the 1000Mbps (Gigabit)…
