Printer cartridges and ink tanks are not the same! Read carefully. Most modern printers have a regular cartridge or ink tank and an EXTRA large size (denoted by "X"). Some even have 3 different sizes with the corresponding amount of ink (small-medium-large). There can be good reasons to order smaller tanks, especially if you intend to change them frequently. But especially with a laser printer, when you're printing a large amount of text (e.g. tax returns) you don't want to run out of ink halfway through. You should look out for the EXTRA LARGE version - the toner and pack are the same size, but the X version has more ink powder.
