The toner cartridge arrived on February 8th. It was not needed until March 30th. will not be printed. Now, Revain says the return period, which ended on March 15, has passed. For me it was a replacement cartridge that could not be installed until the current ink ran out. Now I'm stuck with a cartridge I paid over $100 for with no recourse. Next time I will order direct from Office Depot where I can return personally. Terrible.

We have had problems with these HP OEM cartridges before. I received a new cartridge and when I opened the undamaged box there was black toner inside. The cartridge is packed in a sealed black plastic bag. When I opened the bag, the inside was as clean as can be. Cartridge prepared and installed, tested. There were black bars on the test page. Cartridge left dark horizontal streaks every 1.25 inches or so - 7 per side - also with dark side center. These dark areas had blurred boundaries. Overall experience is similar to several other reviews. The toner cartridge looked brand new, sealed in a bag, with full HP logo but in an old HP box. I bought this toner for an HP printer that hasn't been used in over 2 years. I took it out of the closet and turned it on expecting to see that the original HP toner either didn't work or would go bad when I started printing. No, it worked as if it had never been saved. Printer cartridges and ink tanks are not the same! Read carefully. Most modern printers have a regular cartridge or ink tank and an EXTRA large size (denoted by "X"). Some even have 3 different sizes with the corresponding amount of ink (small-medium-large). There can be good reasons to order smaller tanks, especially if you intend to change them frequently.
