I bought these for a college party and it was one of my best investments. Since the color is water activated, you can store it for a long time and it will last a long time. I had to mix colors for a costume and I did it on my face with no problems. When blending on the face, I found what base color works best for the foundation (I used white foundation on anything lighter than skin, I wouldn't recommend using black foundation on anything). Then I just added the colors I needed to the base. I painted and blended most of it with my fingers (since I didn't have a larger brush with me) and it worked great. When you mix these colors, the possibilities are endless. Can't wait to have this on hand for future Halloweens! The color is rich and high quality. Don't waste your money on cheap, unsaturated face paint that will run out quickly and dry up within a year.
