These lights are perfect for my closets. I was very lucky and happened to have metal door frames in my apartment so the installation was insanely easy for me, but if I had to use metal bars it would be pretty easy and straightforward. My only complaint is that the motion sensors aren't very consistent. Sometimes I open the door and the light doesn't come on. In other cases it includes. Goes out before I close the closet door. Other times good. Obviously I installed them in a place where I don't get much light (so I need light) so it would be great if they worked more consistently, but when they do they are perfect. I didn't block them so that's not a problem, it should just be a sensor sensitivity setting. I'd say they've been installed for a few months and I haven't had to charge them yet, so the battery life is pretty good. I would definitely recommend her.
