When I received them, most of them fell out of the metal feet when I picked them up. They also had too much soot. I was debating whether to switch to wooden wicks or hemp-cotton wicks. There was black smoke everywhere. Regardless of how high the wick was when it was lit, I usually choose the standard 1/4" or 3/16" wick height. The wick itself when burning left a long black soot in the vessel down the length of the wick which was very disgusting to look at, photos will be attached soon. And they dyed my wax strange colors. I smelled of soot and smoke the whole time while they were burning. My jars are 1.75 inches and 2.56 inches wide and this wick failed the wick test no matter how hard I tried to make it work. With wood wicks in a 3.5 ounce can, I typically see 24-28 hour burns, and they peak at 18 hours.
