Good quality standard SanDisk microSD card. I received a real card in retail packaging. Always ensure you receive retail packaging to minimize the chance of receiving a counterfeit card (counterfeits are usually packaged in bulk). However, there is a star deduction for the adapter. It is simply impossible to remove the microSD card from them until they are hacked. I broke a microSD card in half trying to remove it from one of these adapters (I wasn't rough with it). SanDisk replaced the card and adapter for me, but the replacement adapter was just as tight. Use your fingernail to remove the card after use and it just isn't possible. Even if you use a flat piece of metal, the microSD card won't come out unless you put a lot of pressure on it and risk breaking it. Do you have to keep doing this until the adapter "retracts" and loosens? no I prefer to just plug the card into my device and use a USB cable to transfer content to it. The adapters should come with a small lever that can eject the microSD card when it's ready. But it's going to cost more than just building the adapter as is (the pinout is the same for all SD cards, the adapters only connect the pins on the larger versions that fit in a regular SD card reader), so I doubt SanDisk will make it. It might have been better if there was a notch at the top, allowing for a better "grab" of the microSD card, rather than just relying on the thin edge. It can still hold the microSD card but offers a better grip when removing.
