Very well built and looks very good. Enough bone to exfoliate yet soft on the skin. It can produce plenty of thick lather, and the brush is enough for two or three passes. He hasn't lost a single hair since the first pair was put on (and very little fell out then); I am very happy with this aspect of this brush. (I bought this after getting tired of the constant shedding of my current badger brush.) The knot could have been bigger. As seen in other synthetic shaving brush reviews, the hair tends to tangle a bit when wet. It takes a little more effort to get good lather with this brush than with my old badger hair brush or any other synthetic brush with a large (24mm) knot. Plus the smaller bun: I have a beard and only shave my cheeks and neck so the smaller bun with soap is more effective and targets the areas I shave.
