My family loves sparkling water. We spent an ungodly amount of money every week to buy Topo Chico. I finally got it when they doubled their prices in one night. But we couldn't go back. My kids don't drink soda, but I juice them with sparkling water almost every day. My wife hardly drinks water unless it's carbonated. So. I broke down and got an AARKE carbonator. But in the long run, CO2 tanks were still incredibly expensive. So. I broke down and ordered a 20 lb CO2 tank with siphon (about $120 and $25 shipping) and this adapter ($50). I replaced the tank with a 20lb/filled it with food grade CO2 at Airgas for $33. I can now refill my CO2 tanks for about $1.50. NOW - because we feel so free with a soda - we drink about 3 liters of water a day. About a little over a liter for me and my wife and the rest for the kids. That's twice as much, if not more, than when we had Topo Chico. This adapter is really well designed and well made. Remember to open the taps SLOWLY. CO2 cartridges fill up very quickly.
