Garbage construction

Cheap lock nuts on valves, poorly written instructions and above all it does not work despite all the instructions. Does not fill soda bottles despite correct flat valve.

Filling Soda Bottles

I'm a well educated person when it comes to mechanical things but this really baffled me. I turned the value so slowly, but it got to the point where the control value no longer allowed me to put CO2 in the bottle. I saw some U-tubes while filling in, but that didn't help. I bought an adapter for Revain, hooked up a CO2 tank directly to a soda maker. Works great, no more bottles.

Pros
  • It's Amazing
Cons
  • Modern

Couldn't be filled permanently

I bought this at first thinking a hose and extra pressure gauge would be useful. Firstly the gauge only shows the pressure in the big cylinder, I wanted it to give you the pressure on the low pressure side so you can see how much pressure there is on the soda bottle side. While it wasn't what I was hoping for, my biggest problem was not being able to keep refilling new soda bottles. From what I've read you need to start filling the soda bottle VERY slowly or the newer 'safety feature' will kick

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Because of this, I drink 2 times more water every day.

My family loves sparkling water. We spent an ungodly amount of money every week to buy Topo Chico. I finally got it when they doubled their prices in one night. But we couldn't go back. My kids don't drink soda, but I juice them with sparkling water almost every day. My wife hardly drinks water unless it's carbonated. So. I broke down and got an AARKE carbonator. But in the long run, CO2 tanks were still incredibly expensive. So. I broke down and ordered a 20 lb CO2 tank with siphon (about $120
