Review on Cylinder Adapter Filling Sodastream Durable by Justin Castro

I bought this at first thinking a hose and extra pressure gauge would be useful. Firstly the gauge only shows the pressure in the big cylinder, I wanted it to give you the pressure on the low pressure side so you can see how much pressure there is on the soda bottle side. While it wasn't what I was hoping for, my biggest problem was not being able to keep refilling new soda bottles. From what I've read you need to start filling the soda bottle VERY slowly or the newer 'safety feature' will kick in and prevent gas from entering the empty bottle. Because this setup only uses regular ball valves, there isn't enough control to simply hack the valves to start gas flow without activating the "safety". Of the 6 times I tried, I had partial success 2 times and these tanks were only partially full (about 4 ounces of CO2, which is 1/4 to 1/3 full). I'm returning this setup for something different with a different valve that can control flow more consistently.
