So I have the strongest hands in the world. I mean, when it comes to hands, there's me and Bigfoot. Anyway, over the years I've worked hard on our Dyson DC14 to make it run like new. That meant fiddling with belts, brushes, clutch etc a bit here and there and keeping an eye on the filters. actually broken (broken right off my index finger) before. I actually bought this kit for a 90 degree hand tool, not a disconnect, and I hoped I found it very useful when replacing a clutch to add some "delicacy" to the operation. I was able to route the belt over the hitch bolt fairly easily and also pull the main brush drive belt up and around the roller with minimal effort. I've done this replacement entirely by hand in the past and, as I said, was TOO rough with the straps and piping on one occasion. Whether you have strong paws or not, this kit is great. , and the frame (which is used to expand and lift the strap) is ideal for those (with not very strong arms) who need to grab the strap section by section, rather than just a massive tug and go. This is a well built instrument. set and I can see using Tool 90 for some other applications besides this fix. For a low LOW price I was very happy with this kit and would highly recommend if you get into the clutch with those old Dysons.
