I installed them on a Thinkpad and ran into all sorts of problems. Had to turn off the power saving features in the BIOS to get it to boot, which was odd. I've spent some time (too much time) trying to get it to work. Had to disable CPU power saving features to boot. After about two weeks, I found my laptop wouldn't go to sleep. Very unusual RAM behavior causing these problems. Of course, it could be something with my motherboard, CPU, etc. You have passed memtest86. Went with Hynix 1866MHz after stupidly not returning them. I wouldn't pay more for higher speeds, so I'm deducting stars. You'll see frame increases of around 10 fps in games, but it wasn't worth the hassle or the cost increase. With the money saved, it is better to buy an SSD with a speed of 1600/1866 MHz.
