I need to replace some oil lamp wicks. I collect antique oil lamps and use them when we have a power outage. I received this reel a few days ago and started swapping out my wicks. When I make this I always soak it, cut it, light it and let it burn for a bit so there are no nasty surprises when I need it. Well, that fuse blows fast, very fast! Then it smokes worse than I've ever seen, when you blow it they all smoke a little but it was crazy. I don't know if I can return it after using part of the reel. But I will definitely never buy again. If it fits and loads super, but that sucks! If all you want is for it to look useful then this is for you but like me you want it to work elsewhere.
