I've read some reviews that it's not wide enough or doesn't work on some vehicles. So far I've tried it on Subaru Outback, Ford Ranger, Toyota Highlander and Jeep Cherokee. All the cars are in perfect condition and I never felt like giving them away. I'm 5'8" and 215 pounds. I've even rocked the car while standing in it and never felt safe. I can fit either foot in it (not the largest foot in a size 10 shoe will do this). Love this item, wish I had gotten it sooner Great helping hand.
