I wear this to take a 24 ounce metal insulated water bottle when I walk my dog 2 miles. I do not run. It holds the bottle well and fits my iPhone XS with a small case but not much room for a larger phone. I have a fairly small waist (women's pant size 4) and still have a few inches of room to tuck in if needed. The only problem is that the open area is the rough, scratchy part of the velcro that clings to your shirt and makes you uncomfortable when you slap it with your hand. There's a weird loop on the left thigh with this velcro and I can't figure out what that's for for the life of me. It's like a place you could stick a screwdriver in a carpenter's belt. He's always grabbing my shirt or touching my hand. Beware if you're worried about wearing this with shirts that are short or otherwise snag on the outside of the belt and don't want to get snagged on clothing.
