Very cute but not fun to play with
Magnetic wooden toys are much cuter than the popular plastic toys, but they are much less fun to play with. Especially for young children who don't understand how magnets work. The magnets in plastic toys can spin, allowing you to connect the pieces either way. The magnets in these wooden toys don't move, so the magnetic connection only works in one direction. This means that not all parts can be snapped together, which limits the creative possibilities. My 2 year old LOVES plastic magnetic toys but quickly lost interest in these wooden ones.
