We were looking for a small TV cabinet that is almost invisible in our living room. It was the perfect choice for us and fit the bill perfectly. Very small footprint compared to other glass TV stands and our TV, although slightly longer than the top shelf, is not very heavy for this sturdy unit. The middle shelf, which isn't as wide, is perfect for the DVR, while the bottom shelf holds the receiver and our tiny speaker system. The entire block takes up little space, and the glass and metal block doesn't draw attention like a wooden or darker block would. Assembly is easy and requires no tools. Everything is described in detailed instructions and the knot itself is simply twisted. The glass shelves are thick and sturdy, and the racks are truly metal. The only plastic parts are the decorative caps that attach to the top shelf's posts. The finished look is small, polished, and perfect for us. Although we originally ordered it as a temporary stand while we finished the rest of the house, we now see no reason to spend more or try to get something else as it's just perfect!
