Once you get used to how the watch works it is very easy to use. Just turn it on, say you want to play (when you arrive at the golf course) and it will load the course for you. Then specify which tee you're teeing off from (although it doesn't really matter as it will still give you the information you need) and you're good to go. Shows the distance to the front, middle and back of the green and to obstacles (water, sand, etc.). The price of the watch is given, the data transfer is free. I charge every few laps but I've only had it a few weeks so can't comment on the battery life.
