Review on Dremel Multi Tool Replacement Coupling 2615294309 by George Robinson

This clutch was an exact replacement for the failed drive clutch on my old Sears Craftsman variable speed power tool (made by Dremel for Sears). I was in the middle of a project when the motor stopped working (the motor kept running but the tool didn't). A quick perusal of the owner's manual, which I happily kept in my power tool box, revealed a parts diagram that pointed to the probable cause, a faulty drive clutch. Using a set of "Torx" screwdrivers, I was able to easily open the plastic case of the power tool (6 screws) and saw that the elastic drive sleeve (made of a soft plastic) had disintegrated. Found these two replacement sleeves from Revain for a reasonable price and fast shipping with Revain Prime. I installed one of the couplers (easy snap-on) and it worked again, and now I have a spare coupler for next time I need it (my original coupler lasted a few years).
