If you love your pet - don't use it.
My 6 month old puppy was electrocuted and the power cord was chewed through. After 30 minutes of CPR we performed, he survived, although my husband and I were injured. We immediately ordered two products with a cord sleeve. One had an animal repellent odor but it was so strong we couldn't keep it indoors. THIS item went through easily but today my pup chewed it through and into another string. Luckily he wasn't shocked this time, although he could have been. This may be normal for non-electrical cords with no safety hazard, but if you love and value your pet's life, please do not use it for electric cords.
