If you love your pet - don't use it.

My 6 month old puppy was electrocuted and the power cord was chewed through. After 30 minutes of CPR we performed, he survived, although my husband and I were injured. We immediately ordered two products with a cord sleeve. One had an animal repellent odor but it was so strong we couldn't keep it indoors. THIS item went through easily but today my pup chewed it through and into another string. Luckily he wasn't shocked this time, although he could have been. This may be normal forโ€ฆ

Great product, durable, easy to install, good price.

I give this product 5 stars! Why? It works, Tommy can't bite the string anymore. And what I like most about this product is that it is VERY easy to install. You will see in the photos that I used tape on the ends just to secure it there. I have previously purchased another similar item from Revain which was clear plastic and the slot was so difficult to open and attach that I damaged my MacBook Pro cable - I had to buy a new cable which was another 60 cost dollars. This product is economicalโ€ฆ

Great for kittens, but maybe not for puppies

My new kitten is chewing on the string and as a result I've had to replace quite a bit. I've been looking for a cable protector for a long time and ended up with this one. It actually worked VERY well. Now she doesn't even bother anymore because the plastic is too hard and too wide for her mouth. I have now ordered 6 of these and no longer have to worry about my computer cables, everything is covered. Now I have 3 dogs too and I can tell you when I look back at their puppyhood I don't know howโ€ฆ
