Review on 🔧 Loctite 222 Threadlocker for Automotive: High-Temp, Low-Strength, Anaerobic Solution - Purple 6mL Tube by Michael Vargas

Knife lovers talk about using Loctite Blue to secure pocket knife hinges and other case screws. But when you read what screw size they recommend for this product, Purple really sounds like we should use Purple and not Blue. However, I've used purple on a couple of knife hinges and while following the directions I feel like purple doesn't really do much. I would prefer something stronger. The blue in this line comes in a liquid form just like this one but on the contrary the blue also comes in a pen/wax form which I think is easier to work with and easier to see how much you really have.. there. This may be part of the problem here - it's hard to see how much of this stuff you actually have on a screw, especially black screws. In any case, I'll take Blue now and try it out.
