Description of POR-15 Patch - 4 oz White Filler & Seam Sealer for Steel, 🔧 Wood, and Plastics - Ultimate Adhesive to Strengthen Weakened Metal and Patch Holes and Cracks

Unleash the Power of POR-15 Patch - The Ultimate Filler Adhesive

When it comes to car fillers, adhesives, and sealants, POR-15 Patch stands in a league of its own. This incredible product is designed to patch holes and cracks in steel, wood, and even some plastics. With its exceptional properties, POR-15 Patch is not just your average filler and seam sealer. It's the ultimate solution that can strengthen weakened metal and restore structural integrity.

Unmatched Durability and Flexibility

What sets POR-15 Patch apart from the rest is its exceptional durability and flexibility. Once applied, it remains flexible while you work, allowing for easy application and manipulation. However, once it dries, it transforms into a rock-hard surface that becomes impervious to fuels and solvents. This means that your repairs will withstand even the harshest conditions, ensuring long-lasting results that you can rely on.

A Versatile Solution for Multiple Applications

POR-15 Patch is not limited to just one specific use. Its all-purpose nature makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether you need to fix a rusted spot on your car, seal cracks in your wooden furniture, or repair certain types of plastic, this incredible product has got you covered. Just remember to apply it to dry surfaces only and allow it to fully cure, which may take up to 96 hours depending on the thickness applied.

Where Can You Benefit from POR-15 Patch?

1. Automotive Repairs: Use POR-15 Patch to fix rust holes, repair exhaust systems, or reinforce weakened metal components in your vehicle.

2. Home Improvement: Whether it's filling gaps in wooden structures, sealing cracks in concrete, or repairing damaged plastic items, POR-15 Patch is an invaluable tool for your DIY projects.

3. Industrial Applications: From machinery repairs to strengthening metal structures, POR-15 Patch can be a game-changer in various industrial settings, ensuring enhanced durability and safety.

✅ WHY CHOOSE POR-15 PATCH? - POR-15 Patch is quite literally POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating in a tube. Remains flexible while working and dries rock hard becoming impervious to fuels and solvents. It’s so tough it may actually add strength to weakened metal!. ✅ ALL PURPOSE PATCH – While wearing protective gloves - POR-15 Patch must be applied to dry surfaces only. Dries to touch in 4-6 hours but full cure may take up to 96 hours depending on thickness applied. Once dry, POR-15 Patch cannot be removed by any solvent. Keep cap and threads clean before resealing. POR-15 Patch dries to a rock-hard finish and sanding is very difficult, so we don’t recommend use on car exterior parts if a cosmetic finish is desired. ✅ PERMANENTLY SEALS SEAMS - Unlike conventional body fillers, POR-15 Patch won’t absorb moisture and swell. It dries to a rock-hard finish that won’t crack or chip & cannot be removed by any solvent for a permanent seal. ✅ WHEN DO I NEED THIS? – Patch permanently seals loose furniture joints, patches holes in steel, wood, and some plastics, fix fuel tanks & floor pans, bond steel, and repair concrete & cinder blocks. – You name it, POR0-15 Patch offers versatility across all your projects. ✅ OUR SATISFACTION COMMITMENT - At POR-15 we strive to bring the ultimate in rust prevention. Known for the unbeatable 3-step stop rust system, POR-15 is trusted by DIY & Professionals. We are committed to innovation, quality control, and excellent customer service.

The product works, the hose is broken, put on gloves!

The product itself works but when I squeezed the tube it broke on the side and leaked. It's a good thing I was wearing full, thick rubber gloves. I ended up just painting with my gloved fingers as I didn't get a chance to salvage anything unused from the cracked tube. Be sure to wear gloves as this material will not come off your hands. Among other things, I used it to successfully patch 1/4" rivet holes in the floor of my sprint van.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great product for putty, adhesives and sealants

A little pricey but a great product. I've used it to seal seams on a car and I've used it to join wooden railings to make the structure more rigid. The main thing is that your surfaces are clean and dry before application. This product does not level itself so if it looks clumpy it is drying out. Depending on the thickness, I've experienced drying times from 24 hours to 96 hours. This is a great product that stops leaks and actually strengthens the material. I only gave one star for the price.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Only available in black

Makes a mess. The app is somewhat limited.

The product is suitable for filling small holes such as sweat burns. It might be a good way to reinforce rusty old welds, but it's better for smaller jobs and I wouldn't use it as regular seam sealer. I probably wouldn't buy it just to fill holes that could be filled with lime grout, window welds or traditional seam sealer, limiting its use to damaged old panel welds. In this case, be sure to wear gloves. This material will stain your skin for at least a week.

Bad filler! for fillers, adhesives and sealants

Wow! Applies and dries absolutely BLACK. Brilliant when dry. Hard as a rock. Perfect for filling in my sloppy welds (no comment) when I paint over. I used it to fill the end of a 1/4" x 3/4" pipe on a project as welding would have been a project in itself and it was by far the right answer. Mold-dried, hard and absolutely unbreakable after hardening. Feels hard like steel. After sanding I painted the project (POR-15) and the pipe ends looked great as part of the steel. Warning - wear gloves…

If you have weak or leaking steel seams - this is what you need!

There were old floors that needed some attention. After years of poorly sealed side windows, the floor was pretty thin and needed some maintenance. It turned out that the factory sealing didn't work, water seeped in underneath and formed a weak seam with some porosity along the floor and sill. was removed, followed by the standard POR-15. After the POR had flared up and cured for a few days, he went back and carefully covered all the seams with this gunk and allowed another week to set…

Great product. Works the same as the thicker version of the famous POR15 paint. Dries strong. I used this on a '92 Toyota pickup door on the bottom edge where they tend to rot. There were several rusty pinholes poking through the paint. I was debating whether to replace the door, weld on the patch panel, or try this product. I'm so glad I gave this product a try! After scraping off rust and sealant that was no longer holding, I glued a POR patch to the bottom edge of the door. It worked great…

Excellent product when used correctly

I have used POR-15 in the past and find it an excellent product when used correctly. I painted a 300 liter fuel tank in a boat with POR-15 paint and the tank came out fantastic. The boat is 1978 and the fuel tank is still in the boat, looks great. So what happened I found 3 holes in the diesel oil pan on another boat. This is the Mack E7M which is no longer in production and parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find. What to do? Spending $10,000 or more to remove an engine and hoping to

It's good? ask me in a year

(see 2020 update at end) I bought this on the recommendation of a local body shop. In fact, they recommended I apply POR-15 paint to some of the rust on the roof, but I bought the paint along with this tube of POR-15 patching material for a large area of rust on the underside of the driver's door and rust from a previous accident . on the rear quarter panel of a 2013 Prius. I originally intended to only use this patch on the heaviest rust blistered areas, figuring that sanding and wire brushing
